Rename The Streets!

In Europe, 91% of streets named after people are named after men.

RENAME THE STREETS! is our response.

We’re redressing the balance through artistic activism in the form of street theatre, song and visual art.

Between May and October, the women and girls of The Common Lot are telling the stories of 15 little-known Norwich women and renaming streets in their honour.

We’re making some mischief, righting some wrongs, and bringing the walk of the women to a street near you!
